What’s a domain on a streaming site?

A domain is just the website name you type in, like:

netflix.com
hulu.com

It’s basically the address of the site on the internet.

What does “domain has expired to the owner” mean?

That means:

The person who owned that website didn’t renew it
Domains aren’t forever — you gotta pay every year
If they don’t pay, it expires and stops working
What happens after it expires?
The site might go down or show an error
Someone else could buy that domain and take it over
The original owner might still have a short time to get it back (grace period)

If you see that on a streaming site, it usually means:

The site is temporarily down
Or it’s gone for good
